Admissions

Debden Park High School is an oversubscribed secondary school. The school’s PAN is 180 per year group.

Admissions to Debden Park High School for mid-year application are dealt with directly by the school and you need to contact the school to request an application form on admissions@debden-tkat.org or  0208 418 1211.

In Year Admissions

You will be notified, in writing, of the outcome of any 'In Year Admission' within 7 school days of the application being received.

Mid Year admission

Appeals Timetable

September 2026 Admissions

Your appeal will be heard at what is called a Hearing, within a time scale of 40 school days, the deadline for submitting an appeal is 13th April 2026. Appeals submitted to Essex County Council by the above deadline will be heard up to 16th June 2026. Late Appeals submitted to Essex County Council after the deadline of 13th April 2026, will be heard where possible up to 20th July 2026.

Mid-Year Admissions

All other appeals submitted to Essex County Council, known as ‘mid-year’, will receive an email with the appeal hearing date within 30 schools days. Your appeal request should state your reasons for your request and any additional information/documentation/appendices should be submitted to Essex County Council, five days before the Hearing to allow time for it to be distributed to all the relevant parties. At least 10 school days before your appeal, unless you choose to waive this right, you will be sent, by email, detailed information regarding the process and also the names of the independent panel members who will hear the appeal.

All appeals dates are set by Essex County Council.
